Social Sciences consists of History and Geography. These subjects are intended to encourage learners to look with open minds at the world beyond their own experience. Although the subjects are taught individually, the Curriculum is designed to demonstrate how one can be viewed in the context of the other.

As they acquire in-depth knowledge, learners will be required to think critically and to speculate, debate, make connections, make informed choices, identify key issues, and look at cause and effect.
